18-20.11.2026: Congrès National de la SFETD – France
26e Congrès National de la SFETD
18 to 20 November 2026 · Lille, France
The 26th SFETD National Congress — organized by the Société Française d’Étude et de Traitement de la Douleur (French Society for Pain Study and Treatment) — brings together healthcare professionals from across disciplines to advance pain management care, education, and research. Sooma will be on the exhibition floor with our French team, Fares Gharbi and Laetitia Natalini.
Sooma tDCS is a CE-marked system for delivering transcranial direct current stimulation as a treatment for chronic pain and depression, developed in Helsinki and used in psychiatric clinics across Europe. In France, patients reach it in two ways. Clinics offer it as home therapy, with the treating clinician setting the protocol and overseeing the treatment course, while the patient conducts the daily sessions at home. Clinicians may also direct patients to buy a device from Sooma for self-guided treatment. Each session takes half an hour, and tDCS fits into a treatment plan alongside medication and therapy for patients who cannot tolerate or would rather avoid pharmacological treatment.
Come by our stand to meet Fares and Laetitia, see the device, and discuss how tDCS fits into your practice and what it could offer your patients.
