Maria Estela’s experience with Sooma therapy: “I’m feeling better every day”
When Maria Estela Morales Zamora was taken to a psychiatric hospital, she was struggling with severe anxiety and depression. There, she was diagnosed with these conditions and learned about neuromodulation therapy.
At the beginning of her Sooma treatment, Maria Estela describes being in considerable distress. Alongside her emotional symptoms, she was experiencing an intense burning sensation throughout her abdomen and back.
“I felt as though I was burning from the inside.”
From intense discomfort to feeling calmer
The discomfort was difficult to bear. Maria Estela recalls crying frequently and feeling very irritable because of the pain. At times, it was so intense that she would cry out.
As treatment continued, she began to notice a significant improvement. The burning sensation she had described was no longer troubling her, and she felt much calmer.
“I no longer experience that problem, I feel much calmer, and I can really feel the difference.”
Better sleep and more rest
Maria Estela also noticed a change in her sleep. She describes sleeping well and getting much more rest—a welcome improvement after the distress she had been experiencing.
“I’m feeling better every day. I’m sleeping well, getting much more rest, and I feel much calmer.”
For Maria Estela, the difference is reflected in these personal changes: relief from the discomfort she described, more restful sleep, and a greater sense of calm.
