During a treatment session, two electrodes are placed on your head. A single-use stimulation pad forms a soft surface between the electrodes and the scalp, and helps the electric current to pass through you hair. This means that you are not required to be bald or shave your head.
The electrodes are placed on your head using a head cap. The head cap positions the electrodes over the targeted brain regions and keeps the electrodes firmly in place during treatment. All that is required of you is to put on the head cap and make sure that:
- The middle-seam is in line with your nose
- The lower edge of the cap is above your eyebrows
The treatment device has a single control button which is used to start and pause the stimulation. Everything else, including ending the session, is automated for your convenience.
